Understanding Trauma in Cambodia

This handbook is the first of its kind, a comprehensive glossary woven with narratives from victims and perpetrators of the Khmer Rouge regime gleaned from the public forums conducted by CIVICUS's founding president. It introduces the Cambodian population to basic psychologic concepts associated with trauma. It has been used as THE textbook in the Royal University Department of Psychology, a reflection of the lack of materials on psychology and trauma. It has been well-recognized and used by organizations dealing with abused women and children.
